Poynton Bowl is finished! And its rad! Just watch out for the widow makers and dirt everywhere it is still a bit slippy (bring a brush). Wheelscape did a great job I especially like the path up to it with a skate-able rock and nice bank to curb thing its a nice touch. I know its sad to say, but we probably skated this for longer than the bowl, went back again yesterday and took some nice slams (see; widow makers)

It's a bit of a downer but as it's a new (and free) park be prepared for the hoards of clueless park lurkers and some rubbish graffiti, enjoy!

I love the Interweb! I practically just got back and the photos waiting for me in my email; I was back in Dublin for the weekend and in between family stuff got some skating in unfortunately I picked the day with the worst weather. After some hasty calls to Locals at Greystones and Bushy we seltled on Lucan and squeezed a session in before my flight back to blighty. Cheers to my good mate Roger (sweeping) and Lucan local Oisin for the lens skills.

Sweeeeet

Some more pic's of Poynton under construction from the contractors site; Wheelscape stories of a cradle are wildly exaggerated but it looks like it gona be a solid little bowl if the their previous work is anything to go by.

And now in our regular feature (well nearly) 'The weird and wonderful world of Tony Hawk' Accepting an award for literature? and playing S.K.A.T.E with a student in UCD Dublin? Tony must have missed the memo on No-Complys but lets face it, he's still got it.
